The merits of motherhood
| I have been dreading this week coming to a close as my husband is spending 4 nights and 5 days in Bahrain and I feel overwhelmed with anxiety, how will I cope on my own with Lottie? How exhausted wilI I feel from having her on my own 24/7? I toyed with going to stay with a friend or getting my mum to stay but in my heart of hearts I know I have to face my fears and look after her and prove to myself I can manage - I will update you next week on my success!
I had another busy week this week, with my social calendar gaining momentum at a terrific rate; there are so many walks and coffee breaks to arrange! It is quite a struggle fitting in the never ending feeds and winding sessions inbetween leaping into the car and zooming off to my next “meeting”. |

Breast is best?
| We took Lottie for her first mini break - a long weekend in Yorkshire staying with our friends and their children, I decided that it was time that wine featured in my life again and with this in mind we took the breast pump with us. |

Finding a routine
| With visits from friends and family diminishing and my husband returned to work, I have been concentrating on trying to find a routine with Lottie so she sleeps well in the evenings allowing me enough time during the day to get showered and dressed and attempt some house wifely duties – this is no small feat, trust me. |

Lovely Lottie
| In between gazing in wonder at our marvellous daughter, I have managed a string of appointments this week, enough to make me sweat as I heave my tiny tot in and out of the car and as I see that I am running late again. |
